Hello there, and welcome to my website! I got my start as a play-by-play commentator in the fall of 2014 as a junior at Wheaton Area High School. My school was interested in streaming our athletic events, and I was their choice to provide the play-by-play. Two years of covering Wheaton/Herman-Norcross Athletics later, I began my three-year schooling at St. Cloud State University. While at SCSU, I ascended to the Sports Director position at KVSC 88.1 FM, the award-winning fully-student ran radio station on the east end of campus. I had the honor of serving as the sole Radio Voice of St. Cloud State Baseball all three years, along with two years as the Voice of St. Cloud State Volleyball and Men's Basketball.
I would describe my commentary style as enthusiastic, informative, educational and personal. I pride myself on having the opportunity to bring America’s Pastime to fans of all ages and background, and I strive to keep them entertained and engaged with the game through a deep and thorough understanding of the game, players, and backstories. I feel that one of my greatest strengths is my ability to be personable to fans, maintaining a balance between being professional in my representation of employers while also interjecting humor and engaging stories throughout my calls.
Throughout this site you'll find a variety of samples of my work, from broadcast reels to game notes, interviews and media guides. Enjoy your visit!
